Tyrone’s opening Division Two game against Kildare and Monaghan’s will kick-start live National League action on the BBC iPlayer and BBC Sport NI website in 2026.

Six games across football and hurling have been confirmed, with further fixtures to be announced later in the campaign.

It’s a football double on the opening weekend as the Red Hands welcome the last year’s Tailteann Cup winners to Healy Park on Saturday, 24 January as they bid to mount their challenge for a return to the top flight.

The following day, Ulster derby in Division One between newly-promoted Monaghan and 2024 All-Ireland champions Armagh completes an action-packed weekend.

There is no slowing down as there is another double weekend to follow between both codes.

On Saturday, 31 January, Derry host Tyrone in in one of Ulster football’s great rivalries, while on Sunday, 1 February, attention turns to hurling with Antrim manager Davy Fitzgerald pitting his side against his native Clare in a Division 1B clash in Dunloy.

The Saffrons return on Sunday, 22 February when they host Carlow, while it’s back to football on 28 February for another intriguing clash as Tyrone host Mickey Harte’s Offaly in Dungannon.
