The Britam Golf Series is coming to Uganda, marking a major milestone for the popular regional tournament.
The 3rd leg of the 2026 season will take place on Saturday, 28th February at Uganda Golf Club, signaling Britam’s commitment to growing the sport in the region.
This expansion will bring regional golfers, corporate leaders, and other partners to Uganda, showcasing the country’s rich golfing heritage at one of East Africa’s oldest courses.

It also boosts Uganda’s standing as a key destination for both sports and business tourism.
The Britam Golf Series is more than just a one-day event—it’s a year-long tournament with multiple competitive rounds leading up to a grand finale. Players will compete for top prizes, enjoy high-level networking opportunities, and experience a premium golfing event.
Launched officially on Tuesday, the Series will feature exciting competitions such as the Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin challenges.

Anthony Kibe, Snr Operations Manager at Britam Insurance Company (Uganda), shared: “Expanding the Britam Golf Series into Uganda shows our commitment to growth. Golf reflects the values we stand for—strategy, focus, and resilience. We’re proud to support Uganda’s growing golf culture through this Series.”
Owachi Jerry, Vice Captain of Uganda Golf Club, also commented: “Britam is a key supporter of golf’s growth here, and we’re thrilled to host this event. It’s more than a tournament—it’s a day of competition, networking, and making lasting connections.”
On 28th February 2026, Uganda Golf Club will host an unforgettable day of golfing, bringing together players, partners, and media for what promises to be a highlight of Uganda’s golfing calendar.
