Uganda Premier League side BUL FC has confirmed the return of Coach Alex Isabirye.
Isabirye who left BUL in March 2023 to join Vipers, has been reappointed on a two-year renewable contract.
He comes in as a replacement for Abbey Kikomeko Bogere who parted ways with the club recently.
The gaffer will hope to salvage some positives at the club on a five-game losing streak, seated 12th with 10 points after 11 games in the league.
This will be his third stint at the Eastern giants, with his first coming between 2015 and 2016.
He was re-signed as head coach in April 2021 and stayed until 2023, winning theUganda Cup title and qualifying for, and playing in the CAF Confederations Cup for the first time.
He later left in March 2023, taken by Vipers SC for whom he won a double (league and Uganda Cup) that very season.
Isabirye is also a previous Uganda Cup winner with SC Victoria University, and a league champion with URA FC.
His previous stints included Nyamityobora, Kyetume, Busoga United, Tooro United and Express FC in the Uganda Premier League.
