Crested Cranes striker Fauzia Najjemba has officially parted ways with Russian side Dynamo Moscow, the club has confirmed.
Najjemba, who joined Dynamo Moscow in 2023, leaves the club following the expiry of her contract.
Dynamo also announced the departures of Diana Ponomareva, Kylan Williams, Helena Bozic, and Elena Shesterneva.
During her spell at Dynamo Moscow, Najjemba was a key member of the squad. However, her progress was disrupted by injuries that sidelined her for nearly a year, a factor that may have influenced the club’s decision not to renew her contract.
In a farewell message addressed to the club’s supporters, Najjemba expressed her appreciation to all stakeholders for their support throughout her time at the club.
“As I bid farewell, I’m reminded of the incredible journey that began in 2023. This time was truly special and unforgettable. I felt at home from the moment I joined the team. I had the honor to work with amazing teammates, talented and dedicated players, and professionals who believed in me every step of the way. Off the field, I met some wonderful people who made the experience even more meaningful.
“And thank you to the fans. You are the irreplaceable support, love, and energy that mean everything to us. You are always there for us. Moscow is a beautiful city, and the memories, connections, and love we shared as a team will stay with me forever.

It is reported that four European clubs have expressed interest in Najjemba. With the January transfer window set to open in four days, the former Kampala Queens captain and her representatives are expected to announce her next destination soon.
