The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations, FUBA, has postponed Friday’s National Basketball League games.
The decision is aimed at allowing Muslim players and the wider community to celebrate Idd ul-Fitr.
Two fixtures had been scheduled for today at the Lugogo Indoor Arena, with JKL Lady Dolphins set to face UCU Lady Canons, before City Oilers took on UCU Canons later in the evening.
These are the second postponement these week after Wednesday’s two fixtures at Jaguars den Kira were rescheduled after JT Lady Jaguars guard Rhoda Naggita lost his Dad.
City Oilers (Men) and UCU Lady Canons (Women) remain the unbeaten teams this season so far.
UMU Flames (Men) and Angels (Women) are the two teams yet to register a single victory this season.
League action will now resume on Saturday with five games on the schedule at Abja Park, Naalya:
