Ivan Ahimbisibwe struck a brace as KCCA FC extended their momentum with a deserved 2-0 win at Buhimba United Saints in a Uganda Premier League game at Royals Park Butema, Hoima.
Ahimbisibwe who scored in either half, now takes his tally to nine goals, the joint highest with Ambrose Kigozi of Entebbe UPPC this season.
His first was set up by Saidi Mayanja after the midfielder controlled a long Joel Sserunjogi ball.
The former URA forward doubled the lead in the second half, showing composure after he was picked by Bright Anukani before roofing it into the net.
KCCA handed a debut to new signing Kennedy Muserero, and he could have made an impact but after lobbying over his marker, shot direct at Buhimba g9alkeeper Jamil Kiyimba.
KCCA’s goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa kept out efforts from Swadik Moro and Anwar Ntege.
