The Guinness Matchday On Tour returns this Saturday, December 20, 2025, with another thrilling blend of live football and entertainment, as Ruck Yard Sports Club in Jinja City hosts one of the most anticipated fan experiences of the Premier League season.
The iconic Guinness Matchday Truck will roll into Jinja, transforming the venue into a vibrant football hub.
Fans will enjoy a full Premier League matchday atmosphere, watching live games on a giant high-definition screen in an outdoor setting designed to capture the passion and energy of top-flight English football.
With the Premier League season reaching a crucial stage, excitement in Jinja is expected to be high. Football lovers from across the city and surrounding areas are set to converge at Ruck Yard Sports Club to witness the drama, intensity and entertainment that define Premier League matchdays.
The action-packed fixture lineup begins at 3:30 PM with Newcastle taking on Chelsea. Attention will then shift to the Etihad Stadium at 6 PM, where Manchester City face West Ham United in a crucial encounter. City head into the match just two points behind league leaders Arsenal and will be targeting a win to keep their title challenge firmly on track.
The Match of the Day kicks off at 8:30 PM with a blockbuster clash between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The fixture comes loaded with storylines, especially after Tottenham’s 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend. Spurs will be eager to bounce back, but they face a Liverpool side that has regained momentum after a difficult run of form.
Beyond the football action, fans will also have a chance to win exciting Guinness-branded merchandise through the Matchday Minutes challenge. Supporters who correctly predict the minute a goal will be scored during the matches will walk away with various rewards and goodies.
Entertainment will be further elevated by live performances from celebrated songstress Tracy Melon. Known for her soulful voice and energetic stage presence, she is expected to keep the crowd on its feet with popular hits such as Tovayo, Ogenda Kukilaba, Sumagiza, Bintwala, Kakana and Don’t Stop, among others.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mercy Atwongyeire, Project Manager for Premium Beer at Uganda Breweries Limited, said the Jinja edition of Guinness Matchday On Tour underscores the brand’s commitment to enhancing football fan experiences across the country.
“As the official beer partner of the Premier League, Guinness is committed to bringing Premier League experiences closer to fans, wherever they are. The Guinness Matchdays and our in-bar activations ensure that fans everywhere get to experience the Premier League in an exciting, immersive and engaging way,” Atwongyeire said.
With a dynamic mix of live football, music and interactive fan moments, the Guinness Matchday On Tour in Jinja promises an action-packed experience that celebrates the love of the beautiful game while delivering unforgettable entertainment.
