KCCA Leopards cruised to Angels thanks to a comfortable 78-48 victory, in a National Basketball League match at Abja Park in Naalya.
The Leopards led 22-12 after the first quarter before opening a 45-23 gap at halftime.
Despite Angels winning the third quarter 15-12, KCCA had already established enough lead and proved their dominance with a 21-10 fourth quarter win to seal a 30-point victory.
Tracy Namugosa was once again unstoppable, scoring a game high 26 points while Sudan Rebbeca Aanyu added and monstrous double double of 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Martha Soigi contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds, Ninette Uwineza added 12 points while Lilian Cherotich grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.
None of Angels players scored in double figures, with Rebecca Namatovu scoring 9 points 6 rebounds inna courageous effort.
KCCA won the rebounding battle 60-39, but they were reckless with the ball having committed 23 turnovers in a game Angels shot 4-for-28 from three.
The victory is the eighth for KCCA in 10 games, with the two losses coming against JT Lady Jaguars and UCU Lady Canons.
Angels have lost all their nine games this season, cementing their status as a huge relegation contender.
