Uganda Premier League side BUL FC have unveiled defender Ronald Madoi on a two-year contract, their only mid-season arrival.

The former Uganda Hippos player returns in the League having played for Wakiso Giants.

He left the Purple Sharks in 2024 to join SFK Pierikos in the Greek third tier.

He recently had a stint in the United States with James Madison University.

Madoi commented: “I am so grateful I am here because It is a dream come true for me, and l thank God he made it happen. I hope to achieve more goals and win games with this beautiful club.

“My target is to defend and work with my teammates to see that we take this team to glory days. To the fans out there, i promise to make you happy, and we will achieve this club’s success together.”

Madoi rose to prominence at St. Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende, where he helped the school win the 2023 National Schools Championship.

BUL FC coach Alex Isabirye is quoted: “We had few numbers in defense, and there was need to beef up the squad with someone with good attitude and character, and the right person was Madoi.”

“With him, we believe we shall have stability in defense, Madoi fits well in our style of play, and we are happy he is here.”

BUL FC are currently eighth on the Uganda Premier League table with 23 points from 18 matches and will face Calvary FC in Njeru on Friday.
