SC Villa and URA played out a goalless draw in a Uganda Premier League game on Saturday at Nakivubo.
The match produced no goal, following a similar script by the opening fixture at the venue between Express and Entebbe UPPC in a double header.
Norman Namanya had the best chances for URA, shooting wide from close range in the first half before firing an inch wide when he went for power from outside the box.
SC Villa had Hassan Mubiru’s freekick kept out by goalkeeper Muhamad Ssekeba while Elvis Ngonde had a late chance to win it only to head wide from point blank range after a neat freekick into the area.
URA FC remain without a goal in eight straight matches, piling more pressure on new coach Hussein Mbalangu who remains winless at the club.
SC Villa who ended the first round with a goalless draw against Lugazi, are third on 31 points, six above leaders Vipers SC.
What next – SC Villa host Maroons on February 19 at Kadiba on the same day URA take on Kitara at Nakivubo
