Five all-Uganda Premier League clashes headline the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 draw held today at FUFA House in Mengo.
SC Villa will face BUL, UPDF take on NEC, Police FC meet Lugazi, KCCA clash with Mbarara City, and Kitara will play Entebbe UPPC in what promises to be the most enticing fixtures of the round.
The SC Villa–BUL matchup reopens old wounds from last year, when FUFA ordered a replay of a controversial 2023 tie. BUL had originally beaten Villa 1-0 at Njeru, but a late equaliser by Charles Bbaale was ruled out for offside.
FUFA’s Disciplinary Panel later ruled that assistant referee Khalid Muyaga’s decision to disallow Bbaale’s goal was incorrect. In the replay at Njeru, Ibrahim Nsimbe scored the only goal to send BUL through to the round of 16.
Holders Vipers SC will host Northern Regional League side Pajule Lions, while Express FC will travel to face FUFA Big League team Ntugasaze in Mityana.
Non-league outfit Football Classroom has drawn a trip to Arua to face Onduparaka.
All round of 32 matches are scheduled to be played between February 21 and 28 on a one-leg basis, with shootouts deciding any games tied after 90 minutes.
