As the 2025/26 Premier League season enters its critical stretch, the Guinness Matchday on Tour continues to bring the excitement of top-flight football to outdoor venues across the country.

This Sunday, March 1st, 2026, the Guinness Matchday Truck will roll into Lekasa Gardens, Mukono, transforming the venue into a vibrant Premier League theatre.

Football fans in Mukono can expect a day packed with high-octane action, as the event will be headlined by a highly anticipated Super Sunday clash between table-toppers Arsenal and Chelsea. With Mikel Arteta’s Gunners feeling the pressure to maintain their position at the summit of the league, Arsenal will be eager to bag crucial points. Chelsea, however, will be just as determined to derail their title aspirations in what promises to be an unforgettable London derby.

Other Premier League matchups include Brighton vs Nottingham Forest, Fulham vs Tottenham, Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, and, of course, the star attraction – Arsenal vs Chelsea. It’s set to be a packed football Sunday that fans won’t want to miss.

Beyond the football, Guinness Matchday on Tour continues to offer more than just the beautiful game. This time, there’s an exciting twist. Akaboozi FM commentators Elly Kyeyune and Moses ‘Brazilian’ will be on the ground, providing their signature local banter live for the crowd. Fans will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with the commentary, sharing their opinions and thoughts without the need to call into the radio station—putting them right in the heart of the action.

Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, the event will feature live entertainment from Vinka, the chart-topping songstress, who will perform some of her most popular hits, including Thank God, Chekecha, Love Panic and By the Way. The energy will be kept high throughout the day, with Bry P MC ensuring the pre-and post-game hype is on point. Meanwhile, top urban DJ Handsome DJ will be spinning the decks with seamless mixes, elevating the vibe during the breaks between matches.

Denise Paula Nazzinda, the Guinness Brand Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited, expressed her excitement about the upcoming event, promising an experience that will set a new standard for Matchday on Tour.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Guinness Matchday on Tour to Mukono next weekend. The area, along with Kampala and its surrounding regions, is home to some of the most passionate football fans, so we’re excited to offer them a world-class Matchday experience. We encourage everyone to come out with their friends, enjoy the football, the entertainment, and the atmosphere—it’s going to be an unforgettable day,” Nazzinda said.
